70-p

The 70-p is a cutting-edge audio controller inspired by the need for precision and minimalism in sound design. Its sleek and futuristic look, combined with intuitive controls, makes it a powerful tool for sound engineers and music creators. The design embraces simplicity while delivering high functionality, with the main focus on ergonomic usability and clean aesthetics.

Design process

The 70-P was born out of a desire to create an intuitive interface that feels natural to use, even for extended periods. I started by refining the core functionality, making sure the layout emphasized ease of navigation. Each button and dial was carefully placed to ensure that users could perform complex tasks quickly and efficiently. The circular disc was designed to mimic traditional audio interfaces while adding a modern, minimalistic touch.

Tools used

Blender

I modeled the TP-07 entirely in Blender, focusing on the device’s geometric precision. The use of simple shapes and clean lines was critical in achieving the minimal aesthetic.

Fusion 360

For the intricate mechanical components and dials, Fusion 360 provided the necessary precision and functionality to ensure each part worked seamlessly in the final product.

Adobe Illustrator

The graphic elements, including the display interface and control labels, were created in Illustrator. This ensured that the typography and icons complemented the clean, sharp design.
